About The Position

The Lotus Notes / Domino server Administrator will be responsible for advanced administration tasks, including the installation and configuration of Domino servers. The role requires extensive experience in version upgrades for Domino servers and implementing SSO in the Domino platform. The administrator will monitor server performance, capacity, and security to ensure high availability and optimal performance, as well as implement and maintain Domino clustering and replication. Troubleshooting synchronizing issues between Domino email IDs and Active Directory is also a key responsibility. The position involves supporting third-party tools such as Notrix and Ytria as needed by the environment. Additionally, the administrator will develop and implement architectural strategies for the Domino environment to align with organizational goals, design scalable and efficient Domino solutions, and evaluate new technologies to enhance the Domino infrastructure. The role includes providing third-level support for complex issues, diagnosing and resolving system issues, and ensuring compliance with organizational security policies. The administrator will also develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures for Domino servers, work closely with other IT teams, and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with Domino administration and troubleshooting.
  • In-depth knowledge of Domino architecture, clustering, and replication.
  • Familiarity with Domino scripting and automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles, including DNS, TCP/IP, and firewalls.
  • Experience with backup and recovery solutions for Domino.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing Domino architecture solutions.

  • Implement and manage security measures, including access controls and encryption.
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures for Domino servers.
  • Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity.
  • Work closely with other IT teams to integrate Domino with other systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
