About The Position
Kent is looking for a Mechanical / Process Commissioning LOTO Technician to support the team on a multi-year project based in multiple locations (starting in North Slope, Alaska). The role involves implementing Lockout/Tagout procedures to safeguard personnel during construction, commissioning, maintenance, and repair operations. The technician will analyze and interpret Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to identify critical isolation points for effective lockout procedures and execute proper lockout and tagout protocols on designated equipment and systems. Additionally, the technician will conduct training for affected personnel on LOTO protocols and safe equipment operation, maintain accurate documentation of all LOTO activities, and perform regular audits to verify compliance with LOTO policies and safety regulations.
