Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
1–2 years of related experience (preferred)
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
Basic math and computer/data entry skills
Mechanical aptitude and general equipment knowledge
Ability to safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes
Dependable, reliable, and team-oriented
Frequently lift 50+ lbs
Regular walking, standing, and working on uneven surfaces
Use of hands and arms to operate tools and equipment
Climbing in and out of machinery
Working in various weather conditions
Ability to hear and communicate effectively in a shop environment
Occasional work in confined or prone positions under equipment

Responsibilities

Assist with shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks and verifying incoming merchandise
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment or delivery
Organize and store inventory in racks, shelves, or bins according to company standards
Open and process crates, containers, and incoming materials
Prepare parcels for shipping and mailing
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Perform routine equipment inspections and light maintenance
Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment
Support shop operations by moving parts and components as needed
Jump in to assist other areas of the shop based on workload
