Kniesel’s Collision, a family-owned leader in collision repair with multiple locations across Northern California, is seeking a dependable and motivated Lot Porter to join our team. The Lot Porter plays a critical role in maintaining organization, safety, and efficiency throughout the facility by managing vehicle movement and supporting daily shop operations. Position Available: Lot Porter (Full-Time) Pay Range: $18–$22 per hour Location: Kniesel’s Collision – Rocklin, 4680 Pacific St., Rocklin, CA 95677

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the day
  • Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a lot porter, valet, or in an automotive environment is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Safely move customer and company vehicles throughout the lot and facility, ensuring proper parking, staging, and organization to support production flow.
  • Assist technicians, estimators, and management by transporting vehicles to and from repair areas, wash bays, sublet vendors, and delivery areas.
  • Ensure vehicles are prepared for customer delivery, including basic cleaning, removal of protective coverings, and final visual checks.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly lot, promptly identifying and reporting hazards, damage, or concerns to management.
  • Keep the lot, drive lanes, and common areas clean and organized, including light sweeping, debris removal, and trash disposal.
  • Occasionally assist with customer vehicle drop-offs and pick-ups, providing courteous and professional service.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Production Manager or General Manager to support shop operations.
