About The Position

The Lot Operations Specialist II position at Cox Automotive involves working at the Manheim Tampa TRA location. The role requires organizing and maintaining vehicle placement, removing company logos from fleet vehicles, and inputting vehicle information into the system. The specialist will also be responsible for moving and staging vehicles for sales, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and representing the company's values. Additional duties may be assigned by management, and overtime may be required based on business needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.
  • OR any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience.
  • OR 5 years' experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of identifying issues such as flat tires and low gas.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain the placement of vehicles within the designated zone or move area.
  • Remove company logos, decals, and wraps from fleet vehicles.
  • Input accurate vehicle information for registration into the system using a handheld computer.
  • Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.
  • Move vehicles and stage them in a safe arrangement for the upcoming sale and pick-up.
  • Confirm that all vehicles can operate safely and inform forklift operators when inoperable vehicles are found.
  • Label vehicles with sale and routing labels to maintain accurate movements.
  • Champion Cox/Manheim values and ensure all employees are treated with respect.
  • Follow all safety and health procedures and model related behaviors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.
