About The Position

DARCARS of Fairfax is Hiring a Lot Inventory Manager DARCARS of Fairfax is seeking a reliable and motivated Lot Inventory Manager to join our team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring excellent customer experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our dealership. In this role, you will assist with a variety of operational tasks, help maintain an organized and efficient vehicle lot, and support our service and sales teams to keep everything running seamlessly.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license with a safe and acceptable driving record
• Vehicle detailing experience
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
• Strong communication skills when interacting with customers and team members
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service
• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• The ability to read, understand, and follow instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, and communicate clearly with customers
• The ability to bend, twist, stand, and walk for extended periods in varying weather conditions
• The ability to lift at least 30 lbs

Responsibilities

• Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner
• Greet customers warmly and assist them when arriving at the dealership
• Direct customers when parking or retrieving their vehicles
• Assist with service write-ups and vehicle tagging
• Help maintain efficient vehicle flow within the dealership service area
• Move customer vehicles to and from the service shop to assist advisors and technicians
• Provide shuttle service for customers, when needed
• Report any situations that could impact the safety, security, or integrity of the dealership, employees, or customers
• Maintain the cleanliness of the service area, ensuring floors remain clean and dry
• Handle garbage removal and general lot upkeep
• Keep driveways and walkways clear of debris, ice, and snow
• Assist with dealer vehicle exchanges
• Follow all DARCARS policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
