About The Position

West Central Equipment is a well-established John Deere Agricultural and Turf Equipment Sales and Service Company with multiple locations in Western and Central Pennsylvania. We have an opening at our Butler location for a Lot Attendant. The purpose of the Lot Attendant at a West Central Equipment location is to oversee inventory movement to and from the business, develop and maintain storage patterns and practices, and keep accurate inventory records in the dealer business system.

Requirements

Driver's License
Good oral communication skills
Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.
Computer skills - ability to use standard software programs and make entries in the dealer business system
High School Diploma or equivalent experience
Ability to operate a forklift and skid loader safely - training and certification will be provided by the company
Ability to operate John Deere and other brands of tractors

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with ag and turf equipment and parts is a plus

Responsibilities

Load and unload trucks; place merchandise in storage and display areas
Ability to operate tractors, skid loaders, mowers or other ag and mowing equipment
Unload incoming shipments of equipment and parts by driving the equipment or using a forklift or skid loader
Enter inventory information into the dealer business system
In a timely manner, move equipment, implements and attachments to service areas for technician repair or setup and pre-delivery
Develop and maintain effective storage locations and patterns for equipment, implements and attachments
Other duties as assigned by managers, including lawn maintenance and equipment detailing as needed
