Lot Attendant
About The Position
Ramsey Mazda of Des Moines is seeking a dependable and motivated Lot Attendant to join their team. This role is essential to maintaining the vehicle inventory, supporting sales operations, and ensuring customers receive vehicles that look great and are delivery ready. Requirements
- Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles, including both manual and automatic transmissions
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required
Responsibilities
- Move and organize vehicles on the lot to maintain proper display and support sales activities
- Deliver vehicles to off-site locations as needed
- Monitor tire pressure and add air or fuel when required
- Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery
- Wash and prioritize vehicles based on appearance and delivery timelines
- Identify basic vehicle repairs or building maintenance needs and notify management
- Assist the shuttle driver when necessary
- Perform additional duties as assigned
