Job Summary: The Lot Attendant is responsible for maintaining the appearance and organization of the vehicle lot, ensuring vehicles are clean, and assisting with various tasks to support the dealership's operations. This role involves moving vehicles, performing light maintenance, and providing customer service when necessary. Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Movement: Park and retrieve vehicles from the lot for customers, service technicians, and sales staff. Ensure vehicles are properly arranged and parked on the lot according to dealership standards. Transport vehicles to and from service areas, body shops, and other locations as needed. Lot Maintenance: Keep the lot neat, organized, and free of debris. Arrange vehicles in a manner that promotes their best features and appeal. Ensure all vehicles are locked and secure after business hours. Vehicle Preparation: Wash, vacuum, and detail vehicles to ensure they are clean and presentable for customers. Perform light vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking tire pressure, refueling, and topping off fluids. Customer Service: Greet customers and assist them in locating their vehicles. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing customer needs in a friendly and professional manner. Inventory Management: Assist with receiving and inspecting new vehicles delivered to the dealership. Ensure accurate tagging and documentation of vehicle inventory. Miscellaneous Tasks: Assist with dealership events and promotions as needed. Support other dealership departments with various tasks as requested.
