About The Position

CarShop is seeking a responsible full-time Lot Attendant to clean and organize
the sales lot during store hours. This is a critical position as this person is
responsible for preparing the lot and vehicles for our customers' first
impressions.

Requirements

• Ability to establish priorities within his/her area of responsibility and problem solve in order to complete tasks in a timely manner
• Team player and an effective communicator
• Valid driver's license
• Exemplify integrity, strive for self-improvement, and have an open-minded, "can-do" attitude
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug testing, and hold a valid driver's license with a good driving history
• Able to safely drive vehicles both automatic and manual transmission
• Good communication skills
• Good customer services skills
• Ability to perform basic math
• Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedure
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent; six months or more of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Washing and internal cleaning of lot inventory
• Ensuring that all vehicles are maintained in pristine condition for potential customers
• Ensuring that the sales lot is clean and organized - this includes filling "holes" in the lines with appropriate stock
• Preparing sold vehicles for delivery
• Driving vehicles to the gas station to fuel as necessary
• Maintaining the wash trucks, pressure washers and all other equipment and tools
