About The Position

The Lot Attendant is responsible for maintaining the visual appeal of the store facilities, lot, and grounds through routine maintenance tasks. This role involves conducting monthly lot audits and monitoring the movement of incoming and outgoing equipment, including items that are sold, transferred, or used for demonstrations, utilizing the DIT process. The attendant is expected to perform various duties assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner, always adhering to safety rules and regulations. Key responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the facility's image for both customers and employees, staging equipment for events like customer clinics and open houses, and maintaining the grounds, including lawns, equipment displays, and parking lots. The position also entails performing basic maintenance on company equipment, such as oil changes, refueling, changing filters, and monitoring mileage. A constant commitment to customer service is essential. The Lot Attendant will coordinate necessary repairs for items that cannot be fixed in-house and will service, assemble, and replace items like light bulbs, filters, fixtures, and displays. The role requires maintaining a clean work area, performing tasks neatly and orderly, and working independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation. An adequate toolset is required to fulfill job responsibilities, and other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment for maintenance purposes
Experience with basic computer functions
Experience working cooperatively in a team environment
Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required
Valid driver’s license required
Must have an adequate toolset to perform job responsibilities

Responsibilities

Maintaining the image of store facilities, lot, and grounds through routine maintenance
Performs monthly lot audits
Monitors incoming and outgoing equipment, via the DIT process (sold, transferred, demo etc.)
Performs any additional duties assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner all while adhering to safety rules and regulations
Clean and maintain facilities image for customers and employees
Stage equipment for customer clinics, open house, or other events
Maintain grounds including lawn, equipment displays and parking lot
Performs basic maintenance on company equipment such as, but not limited to, oil change, refueling, changing filters and mileage monitoring
Demonstrate a constant commitment to customer service
Coordinates required repairs for items that cannot be completed in house
Services, assembles and replaces things like light bulbs, filters, fixtures and displays
Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
Work independently with little or no supervision, self-motivated
