The Lot Attendant is responsible for maintaining the visual appeal of the store facilities, lot, and grounds through routine maintenance tasks. This role involves conducting monthly lot audits and monitoring the movement of incoming and outgoing equipment, including items that are sold, transferred, or used for demonstrations, utilizing the DIT process. The attendant is expected to perform various duties assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner, always adhering to safety rules and regulations. Key responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the facility's image for both customers and employees, staging equipment for events like customer clinics and open houses, and maintaining the grounds, including lawns, equipment displays, and parking lots. The position also entails performing basic maintenance on company equipment, such as oil changes, refueling, changing filters, and monitoring mileage. A constant commitment to customer service is essential. The Lot Attendant will coordinate necessary repairs for items that cannot be fixed in-house and will service, assemble, and replace items like light bulbs, filters, fixtures, and displays. The role requires maintaining a clean work area, performing tasks neatly and orderly, and working independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation. An adequate toolset is required to fulfill job responsibilities, and other duties may be assigned as needed.
