About The Position

Banister Nissan of Chesapeake is currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Lot Attendant to join our dealership team. Requirements

Prior experience in guest services, hospitality, or retail is preferred
Driving experience with manual transmission vehicles is essential
Strong communication skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately are important for success in this role

Nice To Haves

Dealership or automotive industry experience is a strong plus
Delivery driver experience or cashiering skills are advantageous
Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs

Responsibilities

Greet customers and assist with parking vehicles on the dealership lot, ensuring efficient traffic flow and proper vehicle placement in parking areas
Safely operate manual transmission vehicles and drive cars as needed for test drives or deliveries
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle lot, including moving vehicles to designated areas
Support dealership operations by handling cashiering duties, retail math, and cash handling when necessary
Provide excellent guest services by answering questions, directing visitors, and ensuring a positive customer experience
Assist with vehicle inspections, minor maintenance tasks, or delivery runs as required
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate vehicle movements and customer needs
