Lot Attendant/Porter - Service Department
About The Position

THE BMW LOT ATTENDANT WILL HELP TO KEEP THE FLOW OF CARS INTO AND OUT OF THE SHOP TO MAXIMIZE PRODUCTIVITY AND EFFICIENCY FOR THE TECHNICIANS AND SERVICE ADVISORS. THEY WILL ENSURE THAT ALL SERVICE VEHICLES GET WASHED AND VACUUMED BEFORE CUSTOMER TAKES DELIVERY. THEY WILL ENSURE THAT ALL CLIENT CARS AND BELONGINGS ARE SAFE AND SECURE. COORDINATE PICK UP VEHICLES AND DELIVER TO CLIENTS AS DIRECTED BY MANAGEMENT. PERFORM LIGHT MAINTENANCE ON VEHICLES AS NEEDED, I.E., TOP OFF FLUIDS, REPLACE LIGHT BULBS, REPLACE WIPER INSERTS, ETC. MONITOR SERVICE SHOP AND PARKING AREA TO ENSURE THAT VEHICLES ARE STORED AND PARKED TO MAXIMIZE USE OF SPACE AND KEEP THE LOT IN ORDER.
Requirements
- Must be 18+
- Valid driver license with a clean driving record
- Drug-free workplace
Responsibilities
- Keep the flow of cars into and out of the shop
- Wash and vacuum service vehicles
- Keep client cars safe and secure
- Coordinate vehicle pick up and delivery
- Perform light maintenance on vehicles
- Monitor service shop and parking area
