About The Position

Sterling Premium Select Johnston in Lafayette, LA is hiring! We are looking for motivated individuals who take pride in serving Acadiana and being a part of a successful family-owned and operated business.
As a Lot Associate, you will maintain the dealership car lot to provide an organized, safe, and efficient means of viewing and maneuvering of vehicles. You’ll perform a variety of dealership responsibilities as it relates to vehicle and key check-in, and maintaining vehicle inventory.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Must be 21+ or have at least 3 years of driving experience
• Comfortable operating all vehicle types in a busy lot
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor; coachable attitude
• Willing to complete background check and drug screen
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory of incoming vehicles (transport trucks and other deliveries)
• Photograph vehicles and upload to company website
• Keep vehicle lot organized per Manager direction
• Safely maneuver and park vehicles in tight/crowded spaces, including larger and manual vehicles
• Assist sales staff and customers while maintaining a professional environment
• Work outdoors and remain on feet for extended periods (walking and standing)
