About The Position

The Loss Prevention Specialist plays a crucial role in safeguarding company assets and ensuring a secure workplace environment. This position involves conducting investigations, mitigating workplace incidents, and collaborating with site leadership to enhance security measures. The specialist will also analyze data to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies for loss prevention while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent diploma.
  • 1+ years of experience in security service, asset protection, audit, investigations, law enforcement, military, risk management, data analytics, inventory control, quality assurance, or a bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 1+ years of application experience with MS Office Professional Suite, including Excel to manipulate and analyze data.
  • Workplace incident mitigation or de-escalation and Business Continuity planning experience.
  • 1+ year of leadership or management and/or supply chain experience.
  • Interviewing experience; Wicklander and Zulawski, LPQ, CPP, LPC, CFI or other relevant certifications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in implementing metric-based strategies utilizing continuous improvement concepts.
  • Experience in physical security systems maintenance/implementation and coordinating scope of work with security vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct confidential investigations and prepare prompt written reports of theft, fraud, and workplace violence/critical incidents.
  • Contribute to the identification of vulnerabilities and define appropriate mitigating actions while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Serve as department liaison and security/crisis management subject matter expert for site leadership, keeping them informed on key issues, strategies, and the department's performance.
  • Develop strategies for alarm reduction and conduct system diagnostics for problematic devices by engaging and resolving issues with internal and external partners.
  • Work in an industrial environment that requires walking up to 5 miles a day and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Travel up to 25% including one week in Phoenix, AZ for Global Security Operations Onboarding.
  • Make and influence informed decisions by leveraging data and metrics.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently without supervision in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment.
  • Effectively communicate, collaborate, network, and influence across all business levels in a diverse workforce environment.
