The intern will work closely with experienced analysts and cross-functional teams to understand the impact of theft, fraud, and other security-related issues on retail operations. In this role, the intern will assist in reviewing and analyzing various loss incidents to identify root causes and emerging trends. Using data analytics tools, they will help track and report on key loss metrics across store locations, providing insights that inform recovery strategies and preventative measures. Interns will contribute to reporting efforts that evaluate the effectiveness of current recovery initiatives and recommend improvements where needed. Additionally, they may assist in exploring and implementing loss prevention technologies that enhance recovery efforts and reduce future risk. This role is ideal for students pursuing degrees in criminal justice, business analytics, finance, or related fields. Successful candidates will be curious, organized, and comfortable working with data. Strong communication skills, discretion, and a proactive mindset are essential.
