About The Position

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Loss Prevention Officer to join our team in Montgomery, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting company assets, preventing theft, and ensuring a safe environment for employees, guests and members. This role requires strong observational skills, integrity, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Security or Loss Prevention Officer.
• Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security protocols.
• Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with security equipment and surveillance systems.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional security training or certifications preferred.
• Valid Level II security license or certification as required by Texas state law.
• 5 years military, law enforcement and security experience. A mix of these may be considered
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Access control at the main gate as well as construction entrance.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and parking areas.
• Identify and investigate suspicious activities and incidents.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary.
• Maintain detailed reports of incidents, investigations, and daily activities.
• Assist in training staff on loss prevention policies and procedures.
• Utilize security systems and technology to monitor and protect assets.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms and emergencies.
