About The Position

The Loss Prevention Manager at Torrid's Distribution Center is responsible for overseeing safety, security, and shrink mitigation efforts. This role focuses on reducing risk, protecting assets, ensuring employee safety, and fostering a culture of accountability. The manager will collaborate with leadership, employees, and third-party vendors to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Requirements

• 5+ years in loss prevention, safety management, or asset protection, preferably within a distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years in a leadership role involving talent assessment, team development, and building high-performing teams.
• WZ (Wicklander-Zulawski) Certified.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor safety programs to ensure a secure work environment.
• Conduct safety audits, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations and partner with HR and Operations on safety training.
• Create strategies to prevent theft, fraud, and inventory shrinkage.
• Investigate security incidents with confidentiality and analyze loss data for improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations to enhance inventory accuracy and safeguard high-risk items.
• Manage third-party security services and maintain security systems.
• Establish emergency response protocols and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Hire and lead a team, promoting safety awareness and accountability.
• Liaise with law enforcement and build partnerships with Operations and HR.
