About The Position

The Loss Prevention Associate is responsible for providing a physical presence
at the store to deter theft, respond to electronic article surveillance (EAS)
alarm activations, and customer service.

Requirements

• Experience or education in Criminal Justice, Loss Prevention, or Security preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides a visible security presence in the front of the store.
• Monitors and prevents external theft by safely following policies and procedures.
• Monitors and prevents internal theft by monitoring team compliance with Point of Sale (POS) transactions.
• Conducts regular in-store training for all associates, effectively promoting safety, security, and acceptable loss prevention interactions.
• Ensures safety procedures are followed.
• Communicates regularly and effectively with the Loss Prevention Division Investigator and General Manager of the store.
