About The Position

Support and coordinate various Loss Prevention office functions as directed by the Division Loss Prevention Manager. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of self and others. Fred Meyer also requires that all associates perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School diploma or general education degree (GED) plus two years of administrative assistant experience; or combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass drug test
  • Ability to effectively supervise personnel
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends on occasion
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Accuracy/attention to detail
  • Ability to organize/prioritize tasks/projects
  • 60 WPM typing
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Loss Prevention Management System (KLPMS)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures, and organizational structure
  • Combination of 5+ years administrative and retail management experience

Responsibilities

  • Model “Customer 1st” behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
  • Manage departmental budget and expense review and administration
  • Coordinate customer complaint resolution process
  • Manage the pre-employment screening process
  • Coordinate training material supply and distribution
  • Coordinate Loss Prevention Management System (KLPMS) system access
  • Complete daily, weekly, period reports as required
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
