About The Position
General Placement Service is actively working with a very reputable insurance agency located on Long Island. They are looking for an experienced Loss Control Consultant to conduct site visits and develop safety programs for their clients. This role will work closely with the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and Director of Loss Control and act as the liaison between the insurance company and the client. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing loss runs and risk profiles, conducting loss prevention surveys, and evaluating risk exposures. Additionally, the consultant will advise clients on proper coverages and make recommendations for improvement, as well as perform employee training sessions to help correct unsafe work practices. This position requires a proactive approach to risk management and a strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
