About The Position

The LOS Administrator/Developer is the heartbeat of our mortgage technology ecosystem. You’ll own and optimize our ICE Encompass environment, making sure it runs smoothly, stays compliant, and actually makes life easier for the people using it every day. If you enjoy solving problems, improving processes, helping others succeed, and exploring new technology (including AI and automation), this role puts you right in the middle of it all.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills—you enjoy helping people.
  • Comfortable supporting users remotely via phone and screen share.
  • Highly organized with sharp attention to detail.
  • Quick learner who adapts well to new systems and change.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in LOS administration, system administration, or a similar technical role.
  • Development or technical background with some leadership experience.
  • Familiarity with programming or development concepts such as: JavaScript API C# Visual Basic (or similar)

  • Mortgage industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Related work as a developer and leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, maintain, and enhance our ICE Encompass system.
  • Manage system upgrades, releases, and ongoing improvements.
  • Monitor performance and proactively identify opportunities to streamline workflows and automate manual tasks.
  • Provide hands-on support to end users via phone and screen share.
  • Deliver high-touch (“VIP”) support to branches and corporate teams.
  • Create and maintain user guides, training materials, and documentation.
  • Manage LOS and vendor-related help desk tickets from start to finish.
  • Maintain LOS configurations in compliance with TRID, ATR/QM, and state-specific regulations.
  • Partner closely with Compliance and Operations to implement regulatory updates accurately and efficiently.
  • Work cross-functionally with IT, Compliance, Accounting, and Operations to ensure system integrations work seamlessly.
  • Research, evaluate, and support new technologies, including AI integrations and custom development efforts.
  • Stay current on industry trends, Encompass enhancements, and mortgage technology best practices.
  • Demonstrate the NMS CHIPP philosophy in every interaction.
  • Act as a trusted internal resource and problem-solver.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed in a fast-moving environment.
