About The Position

The Overnight PDI Inventory Stocker at Longo Toyota is responsible for managing the inventory of vehicles delivered to the dealership. This role involves scanning vehicles into the inventory system, ensuring proper handling and disposal of protective materials, and inspecting vehicles for any transportation damage. The position is essential for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting the dealership's operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive is desired.
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is required.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages).
• Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in automotive inventory management or related field.
• Familiarity with safety rules and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Scan all vehicles delivered to the dealership and add them to the Tekion inventory list.
• Strip vehicles of protective plastic and ensure proper disposal.
• Move vehicles from the delivery area to service lanes for unloading.
• Stock vehicles and tag keys with provided inventory stickers.
• Inspect new units for transportation damage.
