Long Term Substitute Teacher, Advanced Math, Chemistry, Physics - RHS
About The Position
This is a Long Term Substitute teacher position for Advanced Math, Chemistry, and Physics at Riverside High School. The anticipated start date is as soon as possible, continuing through the end of the school year. The role involves creating a vibrant learning community for high school students, educating the whole child intellectually, emotionally, and physically, and planning instructional needs using a constructivist approach to teaching and learning. The teacher will implement a variety of assessments, establish good relations with parents, students, and staff, and attend all pertinent faculty, parent, and school meetings. The position also requires demonstrating continuous professional growth and aligning with the West Linn-Wilsonville School District's mission and six guiding vision themes, which include promoting personal and academic excellence, personalized education, community partnerships, a circle of support for each student, educating the whole person, and integrating technology.
Requirements
- Appropriate Endorsement Required
- Knowledge of best practices in teaching
- Oregon teaching license in assigned area(s) and proper endorsements

Responsibilities
- Create a vibrant learning community for high school students in an Advanced Math, Chemistry and Physics classroom
