Randolph High School is seeking a Long Term Substitute Special Education Teacher for their Intensive Independent Learning Center Program beginning October 14, 2025. The Intensive-Independent Learning Community (I-ILC) at Randolph High School is a sub-separate program for grades 9 through 12 designed to meet the needs of students with intellectual impairments and those on the autism spectrum. These students require significant specialized instruction in academics and substantial curriculum modifications, often working on 'access skills' or 'entry point' levels. The ILC provides small group instruction with a low student-to-staff ratio, promoting academic and social success through a developmentally appropriate, multi-sensory approach. The program embeds opportunities to practice functional communication, self-help, and social-emotional skills. Students also engage in activities of daily living (ADLs), community access, and transition skills, with ongoing instruction to help them gain independence. The ILC's tailored approach ensures that each student's unique needs are met, fostering both academic and personal growth.
