The position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent along with the completion of Substitute Effective Teacher Training (SETT) or Effective Teacher Training (ETT). The SETT/ETT course is typically offered at local community colleges, or candidates may complete the online course available through App-Garden University. Upon completion of the SETT/ETT, candidates must upload their certificate of completion to their online application. WCPSS will accept App-Garden certificates of completion from other North Carolina school systems.
