About The Position
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for Long-term Interns to join our Engineering Department based in Wichita, KS. You will support aircraft structural design engineering activities. Activities can include design, static analysis and/or fatigue and damage tolerance analysis. Duties can include development of design data sets (3D modeling, 2D drafting, Bill of Material, Change Notes), supporting modifications or repair activities, and performing analyses for either metallic or composite aircraft components. Our Engineers have the privilege of working on complex, highly engineered machines and are involved at all stages of the aircraft life cycle, from product development to manufacturing and direct support to our airline customers.
