About The Position

Michigan Nanny Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Nanny to provide nurturing and engaging care for two young boys in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This long-term position involves a commitment to fostering the children's growth and development through intentional learning and play, with a schedule of 36 guaranteed hours per week. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the family to create a safe and enriching environment, focusing on the children's physical, verbal, and social development.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the USA.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience caring for infants and toddlers, with preference for candidates with multi-year commitments.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Up-to-date vaccinations, including annual flu shots and COVID boosters.
• Willingness to adhere to the family's no-screen-time policy for the children.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with American Sign Language (ASL) to support the toddler's verbal development.
• Background in early childhood education or childhood development.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care to the boys, tailoring activities to their developmental needs.
• Assist the toddler with early learning and motor skills, while supporting the infant through key milestones.
• Engage the boys in intentional playtime, including imaginative play, reading aloud, and sensory exploration.
• Plan and execute daily outings and excursions to promote social development and exploration.
• Help with basic child-related tasks such as preparing meals, organizing toys, and maintaining cleanliness in play areas.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding the children's progress and development.
