About The Position

Norfolk Collegiate School seeks a Long-Term French Substitute Teacher beginning in April 2026 through the conclusion of the 2025-2026 school year. This position will teach five French classes spanning Levels I through V, including AP French. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching French at the upper school level, demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills, and be committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment during this transitional period.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in French, World Languages, Education, or a related field
  • Experience teaching French, including upper-level and AP coursework preferred
  • Strong command of French language and Francophone cultures
  • Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills
  • Flexibility and professionalism in a long-term substitute role

Responsibilities
