About The Position

The Ravenna School District is seeking a long-term substitute Educational Aide. This role will run approximately from October 17, 2025, to January 5, 2026, with a pay rate of $13.00 per hour. After this placement is over, you will be able to aide through the District. The work schedule is 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This is a 1:1 educational aide position for a Ravenna student that attends Maplewood Career Center. You will report to Maplewood Career Center daily to support a specific student by accompanying them throughout their daily class schedule.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current FBI/BCI background check (cost is $46.00, can be done in the office).
• Educational Aide permit through the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce Development (not required at time of application).

Responsibilities

• Support a specific student by accompanying them throughout their daily class schedule at Maplewood Career Center.
