The Senior Ability Analyst primarily investigates claims to make timely, accurate and customer-focused initial and ongoing Long Term Disability benefit determinations using vocational, medical, and financial claim management. The Senior Ability Analyst supports our mission of helping our customers rebuild their lives after an unexpected event or illness happens while following corporate claim standards, policies, and procedures, and statutory, regulatory and ethics requirements. Claim complexity varies depending on tenure in role, which may be inclusive of working with customers with behavioral health/mental illnesses and terminal diagnoses. Work Arrangements This role can have a Hybrid or Remote work arrangement. Candidates who live near one of our office locations (Hartford CT, San Antonio TX, Naperville IL, Lake Mary FL, Scottsdale AZ, Alpharetta GA) will have the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Candidates who do not live near an office will have a remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise.
