About The Position

The Long Term Care Medical Assistant (LTC MA) at Ozarks Community Hospital is responsible for providing patient care in an office setting, ensuring that the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care are met. This role involves working under the supervision of licensed nursing staff and physicians, maintaining regulatory requirements, and effectively communicating with the healthcare team about patients' clinical conditions.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assisting Program approved by the US Department of Education.
• Current certification or registration as a Medical Assistant (AMT, AAMP, AAH, AAMA or NCCT).
• 1 year of related experience working in a medical clinic or office, preferred.
• Current BLS certification upon hire or during orientation.
