Long Term Care Insurance Biller

O’Neill Healthcare is seeking a full-time experienced long term care insurance biller for our corporate office located in North Ridgeville. Who are we you may ask? Requirements
- Previous insurance billing experience strongly preferred.
- Candidates must be proficient in Medicare, Medicaid, Veteran's Administration and Commercial insurance billing
- Possess an understanding of coding standards, modifiers and appeals
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment and to communicate effectively with providers and facility staff
Nice To Haves
- Experience with PointClickCare and Quadax preferred.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel a plus.
Responsibilities
- Initial claim preparation and submission
- Charge entry
- Resolving payment issues for aged claims
- Researching accounts for discrepancies
- Determining course of action for denied claims
- Processing claim payments
