Position Summary... What you'll do... Key Responsibilities: Coordinate the movement of trailers to designated locations using Warehouse Management systems. Maintain Walmart trucks and trailers by conducting thorough inspections to ensure optimal mechanical performance, safety standards, and emergency equipment readiness. Maintain proper fuel levels and perform regular trailer inventory checks. Ensure quality by maintaining accurate records, logs, and forms, including those required by the Department of Transportation (DOT). Operate tractor/trailer units in compliance with all safety requirements, including proper placement of trailers. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and executing business processes accordingly. Complete work assignments and set priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners; identifying priorities and deadlines; communicating progress; and recommending improvements. The hourly wage range for this position is $24.20 - $30.30 The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license and 6 months’ experience operating tractor/trailer units.
