About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The Logistics & Warehouse Support Specialist performs local delivery and pick-up of products and other requested items on a daily basis.? ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Deliver finished goods locally Pickup and delivery of items required in everyday manufacturing process Pickup and delivery for office personnel and managers Comply with customer shipping requirements Deliver paperwork from customers to Shipping Supervisor Drive safely and responsibly Be courteous to customers Be responsible for first echelon maintenance of company delivery vehicle to include fluid levels, oil changes, tire serviceability and rotation, registration, inspection, and cleanliness Prepare items for shipment and assist shipping clerk when needed Scale and weigh products as needed Wrap materials in preparation for delivery Deliver outgoing mail to post office on a daily basis Weekly corrugated materials inventory and report to manager Complete quality inspection of incoming goods Utilize six-sigma quality tools, when appropriate, to define, measure, analyze, improve and control processes and outcomes. Responsible to maintain & support processes, procedures & K.P.I.’s owned by your position. Review of all procedures related to your job per “HR LG 01 Training Matrix” Completion within time stated of all training required by Job Description in “HR LG 01 Training Matrix” Perform other duties as assigned. Regular and punctual attendance. Follow all Company policies and procedures. Note: This is not an inclusive list of duties and responsibilities

Requirements

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Valid, clean driver’s license, class “D” or above
  • Friendly and co-operative disposition
  • Ability to maneuver small truck in confined spaces
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Forklift Experience is preferred?
