About The Position

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The primary functions of this role are to ensure the successful production of our facility by unloading raw materials, supplying materials to the production lines, removing finished goods, and loading trucks for distribution. SHIPPING & RECEIVING Trained to use all dock equipment (truck restraints, chocks, trailer stands, dock levelers, doors, etc.) Moves product successfully from lines to freezer in timely manner. Understands and uses proper shipping documentation / loading procedures. Loads trucks in a timely manner to avoid late charges from carriers. Inspects incoming materials and trailers for defects. Able to receive all materials to include bakery ingredients. ·Able to identify & locate all packaging and raw materials. ·Has knowledge of all RM codes / finished good codes. ·Understands and utilizes FIFO procedures for all raw materials & packaging. ·Keeps sandwich lines, mezzanine and bakery supplied (staged) with quality materials. GENERAL Able to perform all functions of job overviews for Logistics Receiving Operator, Logistics Shipping Operator Understands and uses proper Personal Protection Equipment for Logistics department. Able to utilize shipping and receiving software to perform job duties. Able to use racking systems & mobile equipment safely and efficiently. Able to maintain a safe and clean work environment. LOGISTICS TEAM Maintains equipment and zone ownerships as assigned. Develops, communicates, and follows Logistics SOP’s, OPL’s & Safe Practices. Participate in Logistics team meetings. Assist Logistics Leader & Inventory Control Leader with any other tasks deemed necessary. Support the following goals of the logistics department: - Zero Injuries - 100% Paperwork Accuracy - 100% TEI - 100% Paperwork Completion
