About The Position

We are in search of a diligent and detail-oriented Parts Logistic Technician Intern to join our robust logistics team. This internship opportunity is designed to offer hands-on experience in managing and organizing heavy equipment parts, with exposure to parts ordering, retrieval, delivery, and organization

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in logistics management or related field.
• Basic knowledge of heavy equipment parts preferred.
• Proficiency in computer skills, especially in inventory management software.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively within a team, display initiative, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Physically fit and capable of handling heavy parts when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing parts inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing parts in accordance with company guidelines.
• Coordinate parts retrieval and delivery, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.
• Aid in maintaining an organized and efficient parts storage system.
• Data entry: Create, update, and manage computer records of parts' details, movements, and usage.
• Help the logistics team in forecasting parts needs, optimizing stock levels, and minimizing downtime.
• Comply with all safety rules and regulations during all work operations.
