The Technician I - Logistics will provide shipping, receiving and inventory maintenance support. This role involves various responsibilities aimed at ensuring the efficient operation of the logistics department.
Properly package, label and tag warehouse inventory.
Complete and log daily activities including: receiving, shipping, stocking, tooling, auditing, issuing all materials and completing special assignments.
Conduct cycle-counts of inventory and manage daily log.
Enter material into IES Inventory database.
Load and unload goods and supplies and ensure proper handling of the same.
Maintain warehouse quality by keeping track of all damaged inventory and reporting it in a timely manner.
Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
May require operating both forklifts and company vehicles.
Work in accordance with 5S organization and Lean principles.
Efficiently carry out all task assignments.
Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency.
Must have experience in customer interface, such as liaison between the customer and the Company.
Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of logistics experience.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
Proven problem solving skills.
Critical thinking skills.
Ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentations.
High skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents.
