The position is for the 2nd Shift, working Wednesday to Sunday from 12:15 PM to 8:30 PM. The role is responsible for efficient and timely staging, loading, and shipping of prepared mailings to guarantee proper quality and compliance with Company policy and USPS requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • 1-3 years related experience required.
  • Powered Industrial Truck Certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of USPS shipping requirements and company transportation, production & receiving procedures.
  • Basic computer software experience such as Microsoft Office Suite and various Warehouse/Transportation/Inventory systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform shipping scheduling and manage daily work assignments to prioritize loads and ensure accuracy for shipment to USPS.
  • Unload trucks of incoming material and load trucks with finished goods following trailer sheets and transportation manager’s directions.
  • Post all raw materials in and out of the warehouse on the computerized tracking system.
  • Coordinate the daily work routine of shipping operations, including procedure compliance and material handling priorities.
  • Utilize the Oracle Transportation system to generate required shipping and postal documentation.
  • Monitor the orderliness of the warehouse raw material storage areas and take action as needed to maintain proper organization.
  • Enter receiving information into computer systems and prepare reports.
  • Perform good housekeeping techniques at the job site areas, properly handling paper waste and debris.
  • Develop good rapport with postal personnel assigned to the facility.
  • Provide orientation to new employees, including safety practices training.
