Credence has an immediate opening for a Logistics Technical Advisor Support, Senior who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center WAM (AFLCMC/WAM) directorate, F-16 division at Hill AFB, UT. F-16 “Viper” AFLCMC/WAM is headquartered at Hill Air Force Base with units located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Tyndall Air Force Base, Eglin Air Force Base, and Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. The F-16 “Viper” is a multi-role fighter jet delivering air-to-air, air-to-ground, and surveillance capabilities for the United States Air Force (USAF) and Coalition Partners. The F-16 program has the largest Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program in U.S. history producing over 4,500 jets for 24 countries. Each F-16 FMS case is uniquely tailored to country requirements / development / funding. Presently, FMS production orders exist through 2030. Additionally, the F-16 program includes the Multi-National Fighter Program (MNFP). MNFP is not a typical FMS program, but a unique, cooperative USAF and development program implemented through the FMS process under the framework of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). MNFP began in 1975 with the countries of Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Norway; Portugal joined in 200.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an active Secret security clearance.
  • Master’s or Doctoral Degree in a related field and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, at least five (5) of which must be in the DoD OR, Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD OR, a minimum of fifteen (15) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight (8) of which must be in the DoD.
  • Specialized Training: Recommend a minimum of ten years or more of fighter/bomber, or related aircraft logistics management or equipment specialist type experience with detailed knowledge of FMS program requirements to perform assigned duties independently.
  • Recommend flight line and/or depot maintenance experience.
  • Recommend an extensive background in logistics management, TOs, depot repair processes, and aircraft maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist to provide and maintain an active and accurate configuration database identifying aircraft and commodity TCTOs including safety of flight, applicable to the country’s F-16 fleet for planning and scheduling TO updates and Interim Operational Supplements (IOS) for sustainment of the country’s F-16 fleet.
  • Support the review and process of Country Standard Technical Orders (CSTO) and USAF TO requests and make recommendations to the PM on avenues of modification and sustainment support of the country’s F-16 fleet and commodities.
  • Support USAF material managers and prime weapon system Contractors to produce an accurate listing of recommended spares and support equipment items for sustainment of the country’s F-16 fleet.
  • Support all technical tasks and requirements in direct support of the assigned F-16 program.
  • Assist team members in researching and documenting parts needed for modification kits that are no longer available.
  • Support as a liaison with widely dispersed team members in preparing TOs, briefing slides, handouts, minutes, letters, reports and agendas.
  • Assist PM and team members with oversight of kit proofing and modification of aircraft and/or parts both in depot, CONUS, and OCONUS locations as required.
  • Shall assist PM in working with depot to coordinate/initiate organic workload capabilities in support of country’s F-16 fleet to include but is not limited to, working with team members to initiate AF Form 206 documents, coordinating with depot on schedule issues, and assisting with the shipping of completed workload items as required.
  • Assist to prepare and present briefings as required by the program office.
  • Maintain an active configuration database identifying aircraft and commodity information supplied by Contractors and those supplied by team members and country for incorporation on country’s F-16 fleet.
  • Support CM control over all temporary modifications pertaining to the F-16 weapon system IAW applicable instructions.
  • Assist the PM with the preparation and coordination of the required documentation for Viper Change Request’s (VCR), Engineering Project Request’s (EPR’s), and all and required briefings.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of technical data and drawings.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of FMS processes to include the LOA and the SAMM.
