Requirements

  • High school or equivalent diploma.
  • 2 years of experience in inventory control or other position within distribution supply chain processes.
  • Detail-oriented, especially concerning numerical figures and reporting.
  • Basic mathematic skills including subtraction, addition, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to distinguish minor, but significant differences between complex material part numbers/descriptions.
  • Ability to problem solve and communicate resolutions in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical industry product knowledge is preferred.
  • Experience using Epicor Eclipse and Solar is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, investigate, analyze, and process all miss-shipped, lost in transit, and item issues.
  • Communicate results and corrective actions in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Assist with customer RGA and credit processing when needed.
  • Reduce risk by identifying and reporting when there are lapses in policies and established processes.
  • Perform a variety of warehousing duties including discrepancy analysis and resolution, cycle counting, adjustment verification, and inventory slotting.
  • Assist in identifying errors and root causes of inventory and warehouse errors.
  • Work with the Quality Assurance team and various warehouse departments to create, update, and improve SOPs.
  • Assist Quality Assurance Supervisor to record, track, and report UETs.
  • Assist in the identification and relocation of current and new inventory items to ensure proper bin size and safety concerns are met.
  • Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of annual physical inventory.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
