About The Position

WR has an opportunity for a Logistics Supervisor to lead and provide oversight of logistics activities within the Material Management group, ensuring efficient material flow in support of production and program requirements. Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management of logistics personnel Establish workload priorities, staffing plans, and coverage schedules Oversee end-to-end material flow, including receiving, inspection, put-away, picking/kitting, staging, issue, return, transfer, and shipping Align logistics operations with production schedules and program priorities Ensure accuracy and integrity of all transactions within the Inventory Data System (IDS) Maintain visibility and control of work-in-progress (WIP), kits, inbound receipts, and production-assigned inventory Identify material constraints and mitigate risks impacting production and delivery schedules Establish and enforce standard operating procedures for logistics processes Support audits, inventories, and corrective actions, ensuring compliance with company policies and government property requirements Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material flow, accuracy, and efficiency

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Seven (7)+ years of experience in production logistics, manufacturing support, materials management, shipping and receiving, or supply chain operations
  • Experience with production planning, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and Work-in-Progress (WIP) management
  • Experience with IUID, serialized asset tracking, and government property accountability principles
  • Experience coordinating kitting, staging, WIP, internal transfers, and production material workflows

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies (preferred)
