Responsibilities: Coordinate and oversee domestic and international shipments to ensure accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and on-time delivery. Provide day-to-day supervision, coaching, and mentoring for Logistics Specialists and Customs and Foreign Trade Specialists. Serve as the primary escalation point for shipment delays, service failures, carrier issues, customs-related challenges, and customer concerns. Assign work, prioritize tasks, and balance workloads to ensure operational coverage and service level expectations are met. Audit and validate freight invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with contracted rates and approved charges, and resolve discrepancies to support cost control. Support compliance with applicable import and export regulations, including proper documentation, record retention, and adherence to internal procedures. Analyze logistics and transportation data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings and process improvement. Partner with cross-functional teams to support business objectives, resolve issues, and improve logistics performance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience totaling at least 6 years of relevant logistics or supply chain experience. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting import and export logistics processes and regulatory requirements. Experience supporting compliance with U.S. import and export regulations, including a basic understanding of Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification, country-of-origin determination for imports, and general awareness of U.S. export control requirements. Familiarity with U.S. Customs systems, including the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE), and the ability to run and interpret customs-related reports such as ES-003. Experience analyzing and interpreting logistics or transportation data to enhance operational visibility and support informed decision-making.
