As a Logistics Specialist   ,you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate product handling, shipment preparation, and inventory control. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with customer specifications and operational standards.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma required.
  • Experience: 3–5 years preferred in data entry, inventory control, and physical inventory counting.
  • Strong attention to detail in busy work environments.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to walk, lift, bend, sit, and/or stand throughout an eight- to ten-hour day.
  • Consistent ability to lift up to 50 lbs. safely.
  • Knowledge of inventory control processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare shipments by staging, packing, protecting, and labeling containers according to detailed specifications.
  • Generate material certifications and required documentation per customer requirements.
  • Maintain raw material traceability and shipping records.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy by labeling and placing items in stock.
  • Document and report stock transactions and shortages.
  • Monitor supplies necessary for shipping and stocking areas.
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventories as needed.
  • Safely operate ladders, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. and perform overhead lifting as required.
  • Stand throughout an eight-hour shift while maintaining focus and accuracy.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
  • Maintain proficiency in completing duties of an Inventory Clerk when required.
