The TPS team has a wide range of responsibilities including but not limited to planning, press, fulfillment, and distribution, enabling us to positively impact guest and team member experiences while embodying Target’s core values. As a Logistics Specialist, you will… Document all shipments and receipts; maintain organized files for future reference. Compare purchase orders with received goods to ensure accuracy and report discrepancies or transit damage. Maintain perpetual inventory of all warehouse items. Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation. Arrange outbound shipping for finished products: Palletization and labeling LTL, FTL, courier, or parcel shipments Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs and improve efficiency. Track shipments and resolve delivery issues or damages. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with production and planning teams. Execute assigned daily tasks from Sr Logistics Specialist. Core responsibilities of this job are described within this job description. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Forklift and Power Pallet Jack certification required
  • Ability to uphold quality, safety, and operational standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Proficient in data entry and PC applications
  • The core role requires you to report and perform job duties primarily On-Site at a Target HQ location
