Requirements

Minimum 2 years experience in a traditional brokerage/3PL account management or capacity role
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to multitask in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
High school diploma required

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

Source and Build Carrier Relationships: Vet and qualify carriers, Match loads with qualified capacity, develop and manage carrier networks.
Cover loads Efficiently: Negotiate rates with carriers and ensure competitive pricing for clients.
Manage the load Lifecycle: Track and trace shipments, providing proactive updates to clients.
Resolve transportation issues, delays, or disputes efficiently.
Market Awareness: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and market trends.
Own Your Desk: Use logistics software and tools to manage shipments and documentation.
Meet and exceed monthly KPIs related to load volume, margin, and service levels
