About The Position

Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for a/an Logistic Specialist to support the Aviation Turbine Engine (ATE) Project Office. This position is based in Huntsville, AL.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (BA/BS or MA/MS).
  • 3 to 10 years of relevant professional experience supporting DoD logistics, technical documentation, or acquisition programs.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing, analyzing, and managing technical manuals, technical publications, or similar program documentation.
  • Working knowledge of acquisition and sustainment documentation processes in a Program Management Office environment.
  • Experience supporting documentation development, coordination, staffing, and configuration control.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Army aviation, propulsion, or sustainment programs.
  • Familiarity with Government property systems or property management processes.
  • Experience working in a DoD Program Management Office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical documentation specialist supporting the ATE Project Office, responsible for the review, coordination, and quality control of technical manuals, technical publications, and program documentation.
  • Familiarization and knowledge of AR 700-127. Supporting the ATE Product Support Manager (PSM) in implementing the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements.
  • Support ATE PSM in Lifecycle and Sustainment management of Army Aviation Turbine Engines
  • Perform technical review of Logistic Data Products and Acquisition Documents.
  • Serve as backup support for property management activities, providing documentation and coordination assistance as required.
  • Prepare and maintain schedules, action trackers, meeting minutes, briefings, and supporting program materials.
  • Ability to research and collect information/trends/issues from Army Aviation Users, utilizing direct contact and/or Maintenance Forms and Records field data (TAMMS-A, MCDS 2410)
  • Provide real-world Army Aviation maintenance expertise to the ATE Project Office
