About The Position

Join a team where precision meets pace. As our Logistics Specialist, you’ll be at the center of our supply chain operations, owning the drop-shipment OTC process, overseeing domestic 3PL warehouses on both coasts, and managing direct import shipments from Italy. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with suppliers, distributors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and exceptional customer satisfaction. You’ll also partner with the Director of Logistics on key operational projects and continuous improvement initiatives, helping to strengthen and scale our logistics operations.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in related field i.e. business administration and 3+ years of related experience or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in order management and/or customer service within a CPG company (Beverage Alcohol experience preferred, but not required)
  • Must have strong analytical, problem-solving skills
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work productively, efficiently & accurately to meet tight timelines while maintaining attention to detail and quality
  • Must possess the willingness to learn, improve and adapt
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Ability to plan and organize workload and work within tight deadlines
  • Develop & maintain productive working relationships across all departments, suppliers and key stakeholders
  • Process oriented
  • Ability to process data from a wide range of sources

Responsibilities

  • Manage import & domestic carrier/3PL activity.
  • Provide customer service to all suppliers, clients, and sales with updates on order status
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure availability of necessary products & inventory turn within target KPI
  • Analyze operational or management reports and data for trending and optimization
  • Oversee the Order to Cash process for imports
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with winery teams.
  • Status reporting for DAP/CFR/DDP/CPT shipments to all relevant distributors & sales team
  • Management of procure to pay processes
  • Coordinate, collect and organize all needed documents for effective and compliant import and customs clearing
  • Assist the Director with system automation initiatives, EDI, etc.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels
  • Provide timely and accurate weekly & monthly reports
  • Developing positive relationships with other employees of the company in Marketing, Administration, Sales, Finance and other departments as needed
