About The Position

We are seeking an ambitious Logistics Specialist that will manage projects for various areas to drive process improvement, establish standards, and provide cost savings. Cost savings must be tied to P & L’s. They will assist with Logistics functions and requests. The role will also assist in coordinating the exchange of data, communication, information flow, supplier outreach, and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 1+ year of experience in material planning or supply chain roles within manufacturing and/or distribution environments.
  • Familiar with basic supply chain, traffic, commerce terms, procedures, regulations, and related areas.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, or equivalent productivity suites, currently in use by the Company.
  • Analytical ability.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a strong presence in the UPS logistics web portal, keeping data up to date.
  • Lead and manage logistics-related projects across various departments to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support Commodity Managers with information related to logistics services.
  • Process special orders, debit memos, supplier reports, and coordinate mass supplier outreach communications.
  • Organize and maintain files, records, and data, complete required forms, scan documents, and post updates for Supply Chain & Logistics.
  • Perform Oracle transactions, inquiries, and generate reports to support logistics operations.
  • Review and approve Customer Master Maintenance requests related to logistics.
  • Manage Supplier Master Maintenance for Logistics approvals and uploads to Oracle.
  • Facilitate Freight Board Requests and Freight Quote Requests
  • Provide approvals for FBR / FQR’s for Tier 2 requests and UPS systems.
  • Monitor and maintain the International Incoming Shipment Tracker, including shipment exceptions and traceability.
  • Assist with domestic and international shipments; Return Material Authorizations (RMAs).
  • Oversee 30G shipments in and out of the Mansfield facility.
  • Maintain and update the Global Supplier Scorecard to ensure logistics compliance.
  • Handle freight claims and ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor and improve On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance across global operations.
  • Manage global logistics operations and drive cost-saving initiatives.
  • Conduct global transit time analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Promote awareness and training on Incoterms across global teams.
  • Collaborate with carriers to resolve logistics-related issues.
  • Approve and dispute invoices in Open Envoy as needed.
  • Provide global training on internal logistics forms and promote logistics awareness.
  • Other duties as assigned.
