About The Position

Sev1Tech is searching for a Logistics Specialist to apply their skills in support of the US Space Force’s MeshONE-T program. The program is the ground component of the larger meshONE concept and will eventually integrate with the Air and Space components of meshONE to provide an end‐to-end network solution across all mediums, environments, and warfighting domains. The ideal candidate will have worked in a Logistics position on a DoD contract. Overview/Job responsibilities: Oversee the product flow process from material acquisition to final delivery Provide logistics support, materials management, and warehousing functions Ensure compliance with Government Property Management policies and regulations (FAR/DFAR) Assist with records management with all auditable documentation and management of Government/Contractor furnished Equipment Plan and implement domestic and international material shipments, in compliance with shipping regulations and company policies Work with cross-functional teams to refine business operations and requirements Travel: 10% to various DoD and other facilities, as required

Requirements

  • 5 years’ logistics work experience
  • Experience with receiving, shipping, and handling of Government Property (GFE/CFE) and general materials
  • Experience with Logistics and Materials Management Data Base type applications
  • Able to lift 40 lbs
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Outlook)
  • Security Clearance: Secret

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Certificate in a related field
  • Knowledge of Domestic and International shipping w/ commercial vendors such as FedEx
  • Government Property Management experience, understanding of IUID methods
  • Knowledge of inventory applications such as Fishbowl Logistics/Materiel experience on a DOD contract
